Dear Colleagues,
Please take a look at the announcement of the 6th NPN workshop below. The 6th New Physics opportunities at Neutrino Facilities (NPN2026) workshop will take place on May 26-28 2026 in Mito (near J-PARC), Japan.
Best regards,

Dear colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to announce that 6th New Physics Opportunities at Neutrino Facilities (NPN2026) will be held at The Hirosawa City Center (Mito Bunka Center) in Mito, Ibaraki, Japan from May 26th to 28th, 2026.
You can find the information on the workshop in the indico page.
https://conference-indico.kek.jp/event/361/This workshop aims to bring together both theorists and experimentalists to actively discuss new physics opportunities at current and future neutrino facilities.
The primary focus of the NPN 2026 workshop will be on the present status and future directions of accelerator-based neutrino experiments. The workshop aims to provide a platform for detailed discussions on future experimental strategies, facility developments, and the synergies between different accelerator-based neutrino programs, with an emphasis on how they can collectively advance neutrino physics and search for physics beyond the Standard Model. Within this context, we aim to explore and focus on the physics landscape beyond the measurement of leptonic CP violation.
In this workshop, the following topics will be covered:
- Current and future accelerator-based neutrino experiments
- Theory view on neutrino including BSM and beyond CPV
- New ideas for future accelerator-based experiments and facilities
The sessions will be organized primarily with invited talks.
In addition, to encourage the participation of early-career researchers, we will include a contributed talks session of approximately two hours in the program. The talks will be selected from the abstracts submitted here, with the selection criteria taking into account how well the proposed abstract aligns with the scope of the workshop, broadly defined to include related R&D activities for future experiments, as well as the career stage of the submitter. Travel support for early-career speakers will also be provided, subject to the availability of funding.
Abstract submission is open until April 17th.
https://conference-indico.kek.jp/event/361/registrations/Registration to this workshop is also open until April 24th.
https://conference-indico.kek.jp/event/361/registrations/We hope that we meet many of you in Japan and have fruitful discussions in the workshop.
Best Regards,
NPN2026 Local Organization Committee
