ISMD 2026 is open for abstract submissions and registration

We are pleased to announce that the 54th International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics (ISMD 2026) will be held from August 17 to 21, 2026, in Chungli, Taiwan.

Abstract submission and registration are now open.

The scientific program of ISMD 2026 will feature a series of plenary oral sessions together with a dedicated poster session. 

The symposium will bring together physicists from the particle, nuclear, and astrophysics communities for talks and discussions on all aspects and implications of the strong nuclear force and complex final states.

To foster cross-disciplinary exchange, all scientific sessions at ISMD 2026 will be held in plenary format. 

There will be no parallel sessions. The program will cover a broad range of topics, including:
• Hot and Dense QCD Matter
• Hadron Structure: PDFs, Small-x and Large-x Physics
• Hadron Spectroscopy, Exotic States, and Heavy Quark Physics
• BSM and New Developments in High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics
• Cosmic Rays and Astroparticle Physics
• Detectors and Methods for High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics
• Collectivity and Multiple Scattering
• Multiparticle Correlations and Fluctuations
• Forward and Diffractive Physics and Photon-Induced Processes

All oral presentations will be given in plenary format. Each talk will be allocated 25 minutes, including 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

The poster session will take place on the evening of the first day, and posters will remain on display throughout the symposium. 

In addition, each poster presenter will be assigned a 5-minute flash talk during one of the plenary sessions.

Please note that the deadline for submitting abstracts for oral contributions is May 15, 2026.

We would like to invite you and your group members to submit abstracts for plenary talks and posters. 

In addition, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share this announcement with your group members and collaborators.
