The 14th International “Hiroshima” Symposium on the Development
and
Application of Semi-conductor Tracking Detectors will be held on
November 16–21, 2025 at the Activity Center of Academia Sinica,
Taipei,
Taiwan. The primary goal of this symposium is to bring together
experts
in the design, processing and applications of semiconductor
tracking
detectors for discussions of past experiences, lessons learned
and new
ideas in development.

Symposium Program:
The scientific program consists of invited talks and contributed
papers,
which will be assigned an oral presentation or a poster by the
organizing
committee. All talks are plenary. Submission of abstracts
through the
“Abstract” link on the indico page should be before August 1,
2025.
The workshop proceedings will be published in "Nuclear
Instruments and
Methods A".
Registration:
Registration to the symposium is through the “Registration” link
on the
indico page. Early registration by September 15, 2025 will enjoy
a 10%
discount. Registration will be closed on October 15, 2025.
The registration fee for the 5-day workshop includes conference
kits,
reception, coffee breaks, excursion and dinner. Students are
offered
a 15% discount. Accompanying persons are welcome to join all the
symposium events.
The registration fee may be paid by credit card transaction with
a link
provided to the attendee’s venue account, or in cash at the
symposium
registration desk.

Symposium Site:
The Symposium will be held at the Activity Center of Academia
Sinica,
Taipei, Taiwan.
Traveling information:
Foreign visitors to Taipei are most likely landing at the Taipei
Taoyuan
international airport (TPE). Visitors of many nationals are
eligible for
"Visa exempt entry" to Taiwan. Please refer to the official

Transportation to the symposium venue at Academia Sinica is
approximately
an hour by car. Taxi fare from the Airport to Academia Sinica
is about

Accommodation:
Guest rooms at the Activity Center of Academia Sinica are
reserved for the
workshop attendees. Off-campus hotels nearby are suggested on
the symposium
web-page.
Excursion:
The symposium excursion is planned for a visit to the Jiufen
hill town
by the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards we will go to a restaurant by
the Keelung
harbor to enjoy Chinese cuisine.
