Abstract:
AdS/CFT duality between quantum field theory and string theory has allowed to obtain many new insights in both fields and a generally much deeper understanding. In recent years one has learned that Quantum Information Science and the phenomenology related to the Eigenstate Thermalization Hypothesis and Random Matrix Theory (RMT) add important aspects to this network of originally distinct theory approaches. We will discuss some aspects with focus on high-energy heavy-ion collisions.
