Slideshow 4 Flickr by TVS! was Released 10/26/2012.  I created it because Google started changing Picasa and the changes broke my 'Picasa Slideshow by TVS!' gadget with newly added albums but continued to work with old albums. 

I tested the old gadget with the Flickr service and it worked fine with new Sets.  

Today I will be releasing a new version that has major changes to the code.  If you installed the gadget it in its initial release it will still function with this new release.  The title will not look like it looked initially.  After some hard thought I decided to allow you to change the title link so that it is independent of the RSS feed 'Set' title. I added the function that allows you to click on the current displayed photo which will take the user to the photo Set. 

This change allows you to link to a different page when they user clicks on the title giving you more flexibility   Because of this change however you should look at where you installed the gadget and make the appropriate changes in the properties of the gadget.  When you are in the gadget properties you will have to change the colors as well because most of the old colors are no longer an option.

Features with this upgrade

- You now have more color choices and the colors are marked as web safe

- I organized the color choices by color themes (lower numbers equal lighter colors)

- I now use Google's dynamic height feature to make it simpler to get the correct height and width

- You can hide or re-size the reverse-pause-forward control

- You can take away the ability for the user to use the picture click method that links to the picture set

- You can adjust the display order method

- You can hide the picture captions

- You can change the size of the title link and caption text
