Is anyone aware of a Shapeways-style company in the UK who can 'print'
(i.e. print/cast or print/bind) in aluminium or stainless? I have a low
quantity of small parts I need done in metal since they'll be exposed
intermittently to high temperatures. The size of the parts is pretty
small and the cost/delays in shipping from the US makes Shapeways less
desireable.

(BTW, I'm aware of the RLab ally casting but can never make Wednesday
evenings and rarely have enough free time to visit any other day, hence
the attempt to outsource :))

Thanks in advance :)

Probably too expensive for your app, but you could ask http://crdm.co.uk/ -Mike

Time may still be a problem but I was under the impression that Shapeways postage to UK was similar cost to local postage?

Not quite, it is a $9.50 flat rate. They started off in Eindhoven, and I suspect that all EU shipments are from there. Still way
cheaper than getting anything shipped from the US, their rates are extortionate.

Probably in the same prince range as cdrm but it does no harm to ask.
