I's also seen cigarette ash used. I wonder if it's not so much the material (though that likely affects the properties of the end material) but the finely divided particles and therefore large surface area.

Laser toner might be interesting - very fine ABS particles. Or those microplastics from cosmetics that are being found in the oceans.

I know that bicard and super glue worked together, but not some of these
other powders. I've never found pure bicard in such large packs as they
have in the USA.
