Is there a setting to delay scan when TVR sees a new file in Search folder?  My download manager rebuilds the file after it downloads it. I believe TVR scans and sometimes starts to move the file just before my download manager finishes building it.  When this happens, the file gets corrupt on the NAS, and I have to re-download the file again.  TVR doesn't need to jump right on a file instantly.  Having the ability to add just a couple seconds after it detects a change in the folder would suffice.

The method I use is to use a script, PowerShell, batch file, or whatever you want to call it to deliver to the Search folder a completed file.  What I do is have the Download manager (using your examples) to copy the file to an intermediate folder first.  The intermediate folder is on the same drive as the Search folder.  Then when the copy to the intermediate is complete I give the command to move the file from the intermediate to the Search folder.  Since it is a move on the same drive, it is instantaneous.

In my case I actually use a handy and free (for home users) program that handles the automation of the whole process called Febooti Automation Workshop.  Automation Workshop (Free Edition)

Interesting.  I may have to do something similar if there isn't a setting in TVR to delay for a few seconds.

No setting at the moment - could be  useful, but not planned at the moment
