Folder Naming

Is there a way to have the TMDB number of a series in the Folder name and not in the filename? I saw another programs output for Plex on a friends server and I liked that it helped Plex find the right series faster, at least according to my friend it is faster. I thought I would try it but all I can find is the filename processor option and I think some of my files might be too long with that information added to them.

It looks like you can only use the IMDB number in Add/Edit TV Show's Custom Episode Naming tab.

Well, it sort of works. I was hoping not to have to edit the folder name to add the parenthesis, but I tried it and it works.

I am looking to do something similar.

I am hoping that TVR automatically renames the parent folder like this -

Example - For Breaking Bad --> Breaking Bad {imdb-tt0903747}

The above-suggested method by Tom is for individual episodes, right? Forgive me, Tom, in case this works for the parent folder.

Is there an option for TVR to "re-write" the folder name and auto-update the settings?

James - is this what you were trying to do? Did it work? If yes, would love to know how you've set it up.

Honestly, I don't think it did work before I had to take down my server and move. I've been down 2 months now and I'm hoping to get it back online this week. I'll keep you posted on if it works.
