Ignore a folder in base folders

I'm using resilio sync on the base folder and it creates a ".sync" folder - that's hidden

TV Rename is picking it up as "Sync"

Is there an easy way to completely ignore it?

I've temporarily made it the youtube series and said ignore season 1 + specials as a workaround

What I typically do is Run Scan → Scan for Changes. When .sync shows up in the results right‑click it and choose to ignore it.  TV Rename will add it to the Ignore List automatically.  Ironically, you can edit ignore list to remove items but not add them.  If you're savvy enough you can backup and then edit the TVRenameSettings.xml to ignore that folder as well.
