NFO File Question

I found finally where TV Rename can pull down artwork and generate NFO files. The more I use the application, the more I appreciate all it does.

A question came up on the NFO files.

TV Rename does not pull down existing artwork, which I find is good.

But it creates new NFO files where they already exist and seems to want to overwrite them. 

I don't see a need to overwrite them such as when I exported them from Kodi.

Is there a reason they are being generated when not really needed? I would like to see them generated where missing, but not overwrite them if they do exist.

Appears to be a feature that is either on or off, not "if needed".
