All shows have disappeared

I just started up TV Rename and received an error.  Something about an XML file.  I should have screenshotted it, but didn't.

Anyway, all my shows are gone from TV Rename.  The actual video files are still on my NAS, but there's nothing showing in TV Rename.

Don't know what happened as was working fine until my computer crashed and I was forced to do a hard reboot by powering down without properly shutting down.

I've solved the issue.

If anyone else has a similar problem, try this:

Navigate to Windows/Users/computername/AppData/Roaming/TVRename/TVRename/2.1 and find TVRenameSettings.xml and rename it TVRenameSettings.xml.old and then rename TVRenameSettings.xml.0 to TVRenameSettings.xml

Once you run TVRename again, you may have to refresh it, and it will take some time, but your shows should be back.

Yepp - correct way of doing it. Has happened to me loads of times, but saved the day always. Not really convenient nor user friendly, but at least doable ...

You could also click on "TV Rename (Recover)" in the Windows Menu.
