Is there anyway to use the Superfan Order? If you pick alternate order it uses the Amazon Order.

Not very likely without an update to TVRename by the author.  The Office Superfan Order is available at TVDB, but the description reads "Usable as "Alternate Order 2" in API-connected systems."  TVRename only offers Aired, DVD, Absolute (maybe), and Alternate Order, not Alternate Order 2.  We haven't had an update in what seems like 2 years, and so I get the feeling that TVRename is a finished product with this author.  I'm not a coder, but I think someone who is, could make the addition easily to the GitHub code and then compile it.  I don't know all the legalities of that, though.

It might be time to look for another app if this has become an orphan. Any suggestions?

Why?  It does what it is supposed to do.  Unless you have a special one-time feature you think you need, such as Superfan Order, it can still give you many years worth of service to you.  It's my understanding that the author, Mark, got bored with adding specialized features to the program that others had requested but ones that he'd never use himself.  The program was conceived as a personal project that exploded with everyone else's whims being added.  I can understand his feelings that in his mind it is complete and had accomplished his goals for it.  For me, I think the program has far too many features as is now and rarely, if ever, use any of the latter added features.  If you think of it simply as a scheduler/media database/renamer, it can be used forever.

I agree with Tom's statements.  It can already do so much more than just rename.  It's far from orphaned.
