TV Rename close automatically since update

Hello, Since the program update, the software don't work. During the scan progress, the software closes automatically. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for reporting. It works fine for me (I know that doesn't help!).

I'm sure we can fix it, just need to be able to recreate the problem. Can you please explain a little more what happens that causes it to crash?

Hello,

I just tried again, but it's the same.

The software closes as soon as the directory scan is finished.

I can add/edit the show, it works, the directory scan starts as soon as I start it, but as soon as the scan it ends, TV rename closes.

Same here, The program exits without saving right after a tv scan. Windows 10.

Re-installing the previous version which I thankfully had in my download folder, solved it. So it's definitely an error with the new version.

If people can share their logs I may be able to identify the issue. Does it fail at the start or end of the scan?

Version 4.5.4 was working fine yesterday. Today, as soon as a Scan is finished, the program quits. The last line in the log is:
|FATAL| UNHANDLED ERROR - Application.ThreadException System.InvalidOperationException: ListView virtualization requires a valid ListViewItem to be provided by the RetrieveVirtualItem event or in the OnRetrieveVirtualItem method.

   at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WndProc(Message& m)
   at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

4.5.3 Works when I installed it..

I just reinstalled version 4.5.3, everything works fine.

This started happening to me as soon as I downloaded 4.5.4 as well.  It looks like it finishes the check, marks TV Rename as free again, then crashes due to an unhandled exception, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

All - Removing Layout.xml seems to help some users.

Can you all try this please and see whether it helps?

I just tested and removing layout.xml worked for me.
