Change Season number?

Is there a way to manually change the season numbers?

Search for:   {ShowName}+s({Season:2}+1)e{Episode2}

The show Expedition Unknown on TVDB has the seasons wrong from 6 and higher.
Their S06 is actually S07, S07 is actually S08 etc.

Not sure about season changes similar to the similar features for the episodes.  If it's to be automatic and in real time, there would have to be the ability to add a rule that when it sees any new files with S06 that it renames them to S07 instead and place them in a S07 folder.  It would need to keep track of the videos, folders, thumbnails, nfos, metadata, etc.

This is a TVDB issue, not a TVRename issue.  There are already comments about season numbers being wrong in the Notes section of Expedition Unknown on TVDB.  Someone needs to finally put in a Ticket to get it corrected by the Moderator or Staff.  If you are knowledgeable of the workings of TVDB, you could do the correction yourself, but since it involves so many seasons, I would just let TVDB correct it.  Don't try to make any changes within TVRename because when it eventually gets fixed at TVDB, everything you have on TVRename will be wrong again.

I'm not sure that you'll get very far with a Ticket after all.  Seasons 1 through 7 are already locked, and so TVDB has already concluded that those are correct after a previous Ticket was submitted.  The strange thing is that Season 6 appears to be only in Brazilian Portuguese.  I could be wrong because I don't watch the show, but that's what it looks to me.  The other thing that looks strange to me is that the show has over 180 full feature length Specials.  That's a lot of Specials.  When you have that many Specials, it's easy for someone to confuse a few Specials for a season.  If it were me, I wouldn't try to track this particular show with TVDB and TVRename.  Maybe try using TMDB?  But from past experience that might tend to be worse.

I've indeed changed this show to be using TMDB. This did the trick for me.

That's absolutely great!  I haven't had much luck with TV show listings from TMDB.  I'm glad it worked out for you.

I've had similar success in the past changing external sources.  However, I've also found it to be rather hit or miss.  Glad that resolved it.
