Hi Sparky & all,

First of all, I was just thinking how painless upgrading is.  Thanks for that.

I've got two versions of Battlestar Galactica.  The 1978 & 2003 versions.  & Galactica (1980)

I've just noticed the 2003 version is no longer appearing in TVR.  It may have been absent for some time.

I've checked and it's not in the ignore list, and is not showing in Bulk Add Shows.

Partial log follows.  Let me know if you'd like the full log. (18,000 lines)

Hey,

Do you have the files on disk for all three shows?

Do you have all three shows added in the 'My Shows' list?  if not, it looks like you may need to add any missing shows manually as the auto-add feature is getting confused between the three shows.

thanks

Hi Sparky,

>Do you have the files on disk for all three shows?
Yes.

>Do you have all three shows added in the 'My Shows' list?  if not, it looks like you may need to add any missing shows manually as the auto-add feature is getting confused between the three shows.
No.  2003 is missing.

While the main directory wasn't ignored, a couple of subdirectories were.  I've just disposed of them, deleted them from the ignore list.  And now the bulk add is finding it again.

I've put everything back the way it was and experimented some more...
1. Remove "Battlestar Galactica (2003)" from shows.
2. Save, Exit and re-open TVR.
3. Bulk add shows - Check.   It finds the three subdirectories.  But not the parent.
4. I ignore the three subdirectories.
5. Save, Exit and re-open TVR.
6. Bulk add shows - Check.  It doesn't find the parent directory.  Also, the three ignored directories aren't showing in the 'Ignore list'
Annnnnnnd I've just found the also named "Ignore" on the bulk add shows tab.    Annnnnd they're different.  (That's confusing.)

Ok.  The subdirectories are being ignored in the bulk add shows ignore list,

Ok.  What it's boiling down to, is that if you ignore a subdirectory, it never later finds it's parent that isn't ignored.

I suspect I've previously ignored the subdirectories.  Confirmed they weren't in the "file ignore list" and they've been in the "directory ignore list"
I may have previously deleted BSG 2003.

And now it won't find it because the subdirectories are ignored.  I've removed the subdirectories and it finds it.  I create an empty subdirectory, rescan and it comes up.  I ignore it, save & restart, and it never finds the parent.

And the Google UI just died on me...

So I've managed to re-add the show.  But that's the bug.

Also.  When the show is removed, it'd be good to remove the ignored subdirectories with it, then removing and re-adding would have worked.

Thanks,
Don.

I had issues with these same shows, Battlestar Galactica (1978), (2003), and Galactica (1980). Each show has it's own folder: Q:\Battlestar Galactica (1978),  Q:\Battlestar Galactica (2003), Q:\Battlestar Galactica (1980). Each one works and adds files correctly but Plex sees '78 and '03 as the same show (2022). So I moved '78 to a different drive using the original folder as my search folder and once moved, it worked. I don't know if this helps but it was my workaround.
