How to name the video file when doing the look for airdate and/or episode title?

I am just wondering how do you name the video file when you do the Look for airdates in filename and Look for episode titles in file names. How do you  properly name then so tvrename can find it when you do scan files so it can properly rename them to the correct filename to add to your media library?

I held back from answering because I don't use the Look for Airdate and Look for Episode Titles options, and it would be better to get an answer from someone that does.  Since no one has answered, I'll give it a try.  You don't necessarily have to manually name the video files anything.  Wherever you get your files from, if they are named with the show name and the airdate and/or episode title, it will match the episode as if it had listed the season and episode number, SxxExx, in the file name.
