Breakpoint Exception Reached

Hi,

Every time I run TV  Rename, Im getting the error that a breakpoint exception has been reached,

Doesn't feel that this is being produced by TV Rename - probably by a sub-compnent. SOrry, not sure I can help more.

Some internet trawling implies this might be down to a corrupt disk! sorry

TV Rename,

Based on J's log file it appears that he is using .NET 6.0.20.  Doesn't TVR use .NET 7 only now?  Or can it use either/or?

I do indeed have .Net 7.0.9 installed. IVe just ran the .NEt 7.0.9 installer and repaired the installation and got the same issue
Also of note, I can open the app normally, but the issue occurs when I try to run from cmd

I figured it out. It was /hide that was breaking it.
Works fine when I run without the /hide

"C:\Program Files (x86)\TVRename\TVRename.exe" /scan /doall /ignoremissing /hide /quit"

Seems there waa bug in the /hide behaviour that was causing it to not work. This has been fixed, but still should not have caused your error

Ive tried the latest version and /hide is still causing the same issue.
Is there any debug or logging I can turn on for you?

The latest version, 5.0.8, does not contain the commits to fix your problem.  V5.0.8 was released on July 29th but all the fixes were added in August but never released to the public. When Sparky53 releases 5.0.9 (or whatever version # the next one is) that should fix your problem.

Its been a year, when is 5.0.9 expected?
