We're going to need more information. What OS version are you running? Are you having a problem with any other program? Any problems with the Internet? Etcetera.
In the meantime, do a "clean install". To possibly make things easier for yourself later, first, make a backup of C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TVRename\TVRename\2.1. Then use a "professional" uninstall program to completely remove the existing version of TVRename. Make sure the uninstaller removes Registry entries for TVRename as well as the program. Do not use the built-in Windows uninstaller (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features) as it tends to leave stuff behind. A good source for currently available free uninstallers is at

Try setting up a show or two. If you can get beyond the startup, you have two choices - Add the rest of your shows yourself or copy your previously made backup of C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TVRename\TVRename\2.1 back to where it was. The trouble with the later choice is that if the prior data found in the backup was corrupt, you are back to square one, and you have to do it all over again. Let me know how the clean install works out for you.
