This is very likely caused by the new option to keep the 2 or 3 character ISO-language code in the filename of the srt files.
At the moment this only works when the 2 or 3 language codes are directly before the file extension. {blablabla.eng.srt òr blablabla.en.srt)
I think your problem is caused by the way Addic7ed.com is naming its srt-files. I was also having recognizing and renaming problems with all
addic7ed.com srt-files, but might have found a rather simple workaround . :-D
After TVR has renamed the addic7ed srt-files, do these srt files end with .com.srt
When this is the case then TVR is interpreting the com as being a language code.
You might want to try if one of the workarounds I'm using right now, can solve you problem also.
Option 1: You are not using language codes in the name of srt files.
- In TV Rename go to: Options, Preferences, Files and Folders
- Look for Retain Language Specific Subtitles and remove the check mark
Option 2: Use language codes, but prevent Addic7ed.com subtitles getting false ones.
- In TV Rename go to: Options, Preferences, Files and Folders
- Look for Retain Language Specific Subtitles and mark the checkbox
- Look for Filename Replacements. You will see a small table with 2 buttons ADD and REMOVE. Click on ADD
- In the tabel scroll all the way down where you see your added empty row
- In its first column type .com.
- Go one column to the right (use Tab) and type . (that's 1 full stop) and press Enter
- At the bottom of the Preferences window Click OK
