Shows at random are no longer scanning

So random shows from my library have stopped scanning and the little plus next to the show to expand the seasons disappears.

I have to edit the shows properties and make a change (i change the folder name and then change it back before saving) and then it will connect with the tvdb and the show will scan again ... for a few days.

I've tried a refresh of the shows and of the entire library but it still keeps happening.
