I'm using the excellent TV Rename to manage my Emby media server TV files.
Emby will scan the files, make .nfo and thumbnails with the same base-name as the video file.
When TV-Rename finds an updated name on Thetvdb and renames the media file, it leaves orphan .nfo and .jpg files.  When Emby notices the renamed file, it will generate new .nfo and thumb .jpg for the video, thus I have 2 files that are not used, but still takes up space on the media server.

Would it be possible to make Tv-Rename also rename any other file in the folder with the exact same base-name as the episode it's renaming?

Thanks for a great software!

It does this already:

Try making sure your Preferences -> Files and Folders -> Other Extensions are set to ".srt;.tbn;.nfo;.sub;.mkv.t;.jpg;.jpeg"

I have just made a change that will improve the handling of '-thumb.jpg' files too, but that will be in the next version

Thanks! I wasn't aware that this function also worked when renaming an existing file when a new name was available.

I was wondering if the -thumb.jpg function was able to work now?
