4.9.6 Full scan stalls out

I recently updated to 4.9.6, and now when I try to do a full scan, it brings up the status bar, but it makes no progress.  I took a look at the logs, and it says

And will just continue repeating that message until I cancel the scan.  I thought it may be because there may have been an issue with TVDB, but it seems to be working.  I thought it may just be overloaded, so I tried periodically throughout the day, but keep getting the same response.  I cannot say with any certainty that it worked prior to updating, as I had not run the service in a week or more, but it was working at some point in the past.  If I am understanding the logs at all, it may be suggesting that the last time I used it was 2023-05-04, which could be accurate.

I am relatively new to all of this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like its been a month or so since it has got updates from TVDB, so it'll take a while. Try leaving it for a while and it'll catch up

Thank you for the response.  I let it run for about 30 minutes and it did eventually complete.

I'm on 4.9.9, also using TVDB, and it takes an extraordinarily long time to complete the scan if I haven't used TV Rename for a few days, and almost an hour if I haven't used the app for a couple of weeks. During this time the progress bar doesn't move at all until the last few seconds then it goes from 0% to 100% rapidly (<20secs).

Is this expected behaviour? It never used to be like this, regardless of how frequently I used TV Rename in the past, even after a month of not using it, the total scan/update process would only ever take <2mins... now it can be anywhere between 20mins and 60mins. Seems odd to me.

Same issue here, when the data source is switched to TMDB, issue is gone.....
