SF Bay area anchor suspended for saying too much media attention on Gabby Petito

Essentially the anchor feels the coverage  surrounding the white woman’s murder is disproportionate to murders/disappearances of women of color. And he’s not wrong.

He was not suspended for saying the media disproportionately cover missing or murdered white women and girls (which in many places is a truism), but for arguing with his bosses that he should say it at the end of a story on the latest murdered white woman. As you say he is not wrong, but he does have a recent history of being a bit unstable, and as of now it is not known what he said or how he said it in his conversations with his bosses.
