No. No, it’s not funny. No, it does not include anyone murdering or being murdered.It includes somebody convicted of attempted murder, and somebody about whom there is gossip killed someone.I have some interest in true crime, and kind of liked the earlier cultural sensation on Netflix. But Tiger King was a train wreck. The unfortunate subjects appear to have been badly exploited and distorted by the filmmakers, but are all, without exception, so unlikable that it is hard to feel sorry or outrage for them, or anything other than self-loathing for watching it.

I absolutely agree with your premise, but the lack of likable characters doesn’t seem to have impacted shies like “The Crown” or “Mare of Easttown” or “Dirty John.” I personally don’t understand the phenomena of shows with nobody to root for, but a lot of them are in the pipeline these days.
