It's the hottest 9pm show in the Kingdom, been streamed north of 100mil times just in the past few weeks, and garnered 57.2mil viewers just among those 16-34... and this despite at least two contestants chickening out...

Nope!

It only goes out on ITV2 and is a big hit for the channel.

Instead this evening ITV has a conservative party leaders debate (one of them will be our next Prime Minister) and 'Murder in Provence' which has had a first airing on Britbox already.

And the major competition to the Tory debate is "Countryfile" and Greta Gerwig's film version of "Little Women."  Plus "athletics" (track and field) on BBC3, a strange choice for what I thought is supposed to be the Beeb's young demo channel.

Countryfile will probably win the ratings battle. I think Little Women is counter programming. The World Athletics from Oregon is basically on BBC 3 as an overspill during minor heats etc. It flips back to BBC 1 later overnight when the blue chip events happen.

About as strange as the not-exactly-country sitcoms on Paramount-owned CMT (e.g. original "Roseanne," "Mike & Molly," "King of Queens"     B
