OT: Famous Hollywood hotel getting cancelled

Amidst allegations of racism and other discriminatory practices, the Chateau Marmont is not looking good. Considering the hotel is just famous for celebrity overdoses, hard to imagine how its reputation could get worse.

There were already plans to turn it from a hotel into a timeshare -- sorry, a "members-only owned hotel." That's not really something you do when your hotel's finances are sound. (This article, from last September, says the change was scheduled to happen "before the end of the year," but I'm not sure if the change has actually been made yet.)
