Karma Lawrence of Montclair spotted the onetime Elvin from the "Cosby Show", by now looking like me, cashiering at the Clifton Trader Joe's, and sent the pic to the Daily Mail among other gossip spots... outrage ensues against her, the Mail, and Fox News, who also picked it up... NJ.com (link)

Worth noting is that Lawrence's husband works at that Trader Joe's as its security manager. I learned about this through The Evening Jones podcast, but here's a link to confirm it.

So I'd wager that Owens wasn't the only one affected by the posting. I doubt she even told her husband she'd done it before it went viral, but I can't imagine it's a good look to have your wife putting store employees out there like that.

I had never heard of the guy before this, but my favorite part of l'affair Owens was all the people expressed their outrage -- outrage, I tell you! -- about the people who were spreading his picture by linking to sites and posts that used the picture as a thumbnail.
