PartTV: WB to produce all-new Looney Tunes

The big reveal at this week's annual Annecy Animated Film Festival/Marketplace (southeastern France, close to Geneva): about 1,000 minutes of animation featuring the company's classic characters will be produced for digital and broadcast formats, to be written by the animators involved... WB Animation chief Sam Register and "Uncle Grandpa" creator Pete Browngardt are in charge.

On iTunes from 2015 is what was originally called “wabbit!” but has since been rebranded “The New Looney Tunes,” which were new Bugs Bunny cartoons faithful to the originals. I enjoyed them.

One year later, also at Annecy, WB unveiled finished items from the new series... writer / editor Jerry Beck, known for his own chronicles of WB animation, 'toobed a 90-sec sample provided... commenters largely annoyed...
