And as announced previously, more local news at 9 a.m. (I assume simulcast with KCAL) and a half-hour of the newly-divided Drew Barrymore show at 9:30 a.m., with the other half-hour elsewhere on either KCBS or KCAL's schedule. I would bet that some of the CBS-owned stations will be bookending "The Price is Right" with Drew (I can just see the promos: "Three Drews, weekday mornings on CBS2!"). And despite the objections of some in this group, the fact that Paramount sister Pluto TV has added a 24/7 Barrymore channel means she will be around for a while. They've also added 24/7 "Judge Judy" and Wayne Brady "Let's Make a Deal" channels, as Amazon's renamed Freevee has added linear channels, including their first-run "Judy Justice"), with "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" channels coming Aug. 1.
The article points out that KCAL's now doing infomercials and paid religion against the morning shows, including "The 700 Club" (I presume live at 7 a.m.). If it gets taken off, I guess we can except Pat Robertson calling Paramount Global agents of the homosexual left deep state.
