Using data from web searches, "Searched," co-anchored by the well-experienced Gio Benitez (I've seen him as a co-anchor of "GMA Saturday," f'rinstance) comes up with in-depth reporting on what people are wondering about online; a recent sample by V covered who owns controversial produce source Taylor Farms, what's up with the algae in the Reflecting Pool, and even a recent Botox scare for Britney Spears... at least three other half-hour shows are on their way to the streamer, including a newsmaker interview show for Linsey Davis:

I get it... my usual supermkt (est. 1912?) continually promotes regional suppliers of greenmarket items... Joisey stuff ain't been recalled that much... B

I don’t get it. If I want to know who owns Taylor Farms I can type it into a search engine and get an instant answer. What’s the value of turning on a news show to get the answer?

The gist here is that the folks on this show are telling everyone about how people are searching for that kind of info. Depending on whom you ask, it could be described as internet voyeurism, or nosyness. Also, see Joe's response. B
