was superior.

In a nice bit of cross promotion, IFC has been airing the original The Prisoner, and I've been enjoying it. (I've never seen the series before.)

I'll watch, though I'm not expecting much.

And, as a side note, as my FB pals may note, I just visited The
Village in Portmeirion, Wales. It looks almost exactly the same, which
is just freaky.

Maybe it is just the day I've had. Maybe it is the scrapes and bruises
I have. Maybe it is the totalled car. But I just sat through the first
hour of the mini-series and it definitely sucks eggs. Where was the
fun? The original series was fun, like a surreal roller coaster ride.
I was hoping the remake might pep me up, after what was one of the
worst days of my life. No such luck.
