On a related note - has there been any word about TDS or LWT? I know audiences are off the table, but I don't remember seeing anything about either show suspending production.
Interestingly, even though NBC!Jimmy and Seth have already cancelled their tapings for the foreseeable future, there's been no news about SNL. They're dark this week, but if memory serves, they were supposed to be live next Saturday with John Krasinski as host (promoting a movie which has, in related news, had its release pushed back - making him the 2nd host in a row in that predicament). My gut says that if they stopped production on "Tonight" and "Late Night", which could conceivably be done with skeleton crews, then SNL has to be called off, since there's NO way to do a stripped-down version of that show (unless you just do 90 minutes of Weekend Update).

ABC Jimmy already had Mayor Pete scheduled to be a guest host on Thursday. He had Patrick Stewart on to flog Picard. I now know what it would look like if Sheldon Cooper ever hosted a talk show.

>IIRC, Krasinski is schedule to host the Mar 28 show; they’re dark this weekend and next. One assumes they’re taking it day by day.
While Colbert is advertised as a rerun tonight, it isn't really. He does a monologue from home, with some virtual assistance from staff, since there are the same level of stills and video clips you see in a regular show. While a *much* more professional endeavor than last Thursday's taped rehearsal, there are a few things that make me think Stephen won't do well during an extended home stay. The second segment is also new, another in the semi-regular annoying series where one of his producers has his easily excitable mom interview people. Colbert emphasizes that it was taped 8 days ago. And the doctor she talks to was pretty good.I have no idea how long this will continue.David
