John Sterling -- who turns 81 Thursday -- will forgo the club's trip to Tampa Bay, which follows tonight's and tomorrow's matchups with the other NY team, and is itself followed by the MLB All-Star break... Ryan Ruocco, whose other jobs are with ESPN, their local radio affiliate, and the Yanks-owned YES network, will team with Suzyn Waldman at those four games... Sterling this year passed the 5,000-consecutive-games-broadcast mark...
