Did we even cover this when it was picked up? Bruckheimer and Littman were execs... were they pairing it with some other show, say, "This Is Us" ?

I seem to remember it premiered in the same timeslot as This is Us, I think after that show ended its most recent season.  Then the show was off for a month, for no apparent reason.

Same thing that NBC had done with "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist"--although it seemed like they plugged the hell out of watching the pilot online and VOD.  Not so much with "Council of Dads."
