10.  WHITE CHRISTMAS--Probably the oldest film in the current Netflix catalog, it's the old holiday standby with Bing and Danny and Rosie and Vera-Ellen (whoever she was) and all of those Irving Berlin classics and not much of a plot.  77% from Rotten Tomatoes, 56% from Metacritic.
9.  COCOMELON--Since the last time we did this, a new season has been added to this POS kids show.  There's no accounting...
8.  A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS--The British fantasy--as in a fanciful world, not a Hallmark holiday movie--is on Sky in the UK and stars Jim Broadbent, Dame Maggie Smith, Sally Hawkins and Sikula's girlfriend Kristen Wiig.  86 RT, 66 MC.
7.  BACK TO THE OUTBACK--The Australian CGI animation about animals escaping the Sydney zoo has real Australians among its voices--Isla Fisher, Eric Bana, Guy Pearce, Keith Urban, Jacki Weaver.  Good on ya mate.  88 RT, 58 MC.
6.  THE UNFORGIVABLE--Sandra Bullock, who was in one of Netflix's first hit features "Bird Box," stars as a woman trying to prove herself after 20 years in jail for murder in an adaptation of a 2009 UK miniseries "Unforgiven," which I believe has never aired in the U.S.  36 RT, 41 MC.
5.  THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES 2--The second chapter in Netflix's holiday franchise made last year, with Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Russell back as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus.  66 RT, 51 MC.
4.  THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES--The original from 2018.  Goldie's son by a previous marriage also appears (Kate wouldn't do it?).  68 RT, 52 MC.
3.  EMILY IN PARIS--It's the second season of the show America loves to hate, but still gets Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.  Phil Collins' kid is back as a major reason for crumbling Franco-American relations.
2.  THE WITCHER--The second season of the fantasy drama, which either floats your boat or doesn't, or you don't subscribe to Netflix.
1.  DON'T LOOK UP--Adam McKay's ecological satire with an all-star cast (Leo, JLaw, Timothee, Ariana, Meryl, Cate, Tyler Perry, Jonah Hill) is either a brilliant warning for our times or an overdone piece of garbage, and you can line up on either side and hold either opinion.  Right now, it's the only Netflix Oscar contender in the Top 10--sorry Jane and Lin-Manuel (although Maggie Gyllenhaal's "The Lost Daughter" is in theaters now and drops on Friday).  56 RT, 50 MC.

Ho ho ho.

She was fairly good-looking, and it got her hired off the New York stage by Sam Goldwyn for film roles, altho her singing for him and later at Paramount was all dubbed, after Sam heard the cast album for her last musical. She would eventually marry into the Rothschilds, only to have her daughter die from SIDS, after which she retired. She passed in 1981; 60. Wikipedia (link)

Aired, nope... but it is on Amazon Prime. (I got another freebie from them, and then the Christmas gift, if you will, of an extension till Feb 7th.)

Ask Sikula about it.      B
