Take a look at this story from the Poynter Institute https://www.poynter.org/newsletters/2021/cbs-this-mornings-out-of-the-box-hire-is-a-smart-one/

Morning show hires usually aren’t a reason to rise up and cheer. But ‘CBS This Morning’s’ hiring of NFL star Nate Burleson as a co-host is brilliant.

Only because you posted about the CBS Morning Show, I am compelled to mention that  tomorrow morning during Amber Lee’s 6:40am weather segment during the show in Los Angeles, our emotional support kittens Jax & Lego are going to be featured. I’m hoping this will be their springboard to becoming social media influencers, so that my wife and I can retire early and buy a speed boat.

Just following up that the morning show used a picture of someone else’s cats today. They referred to them using my cat’s names and they said they were my cats; they were not.

That’s tv news for ya!

Ha!  Just about to send a response.  Glad it got corrected!

I'm so sorry for the screw-up!  And that your cats missed their 15 seconds of fame.  Kudos to you for being a cat person.

My cat was honored on International Cat Day:

Here's a short cat clip from Australia Today Show.

Karl loses it.

I was not a cat person. We had a golden retriever named Bodie that we had to put down a few months ago due to severe aggressive cancer. The same week we had to do that, one of my wife’s cats was hit and killed by a speeding Amazon driver. It was a hard week.

So my wife had told me constantly that she wanted sibling cats because none of her pets ever got along. So I arranged it, and much to everybody’s surprise, the kittens gravitate towards me… the non cat person.

I like Marc Maron’s take on cats… that I like my cats; the cats of others hold little interest to me. Jax and Lego are often more entertaining to watch than anything on TV.

For those who do find the cats of others interesting, here are mine:

Sorry to hear about the dog and cat (cats should never be outside because they get hit by cars).

Glad you're becoming a cat person.  There's never been a time in my life when there wasn't a cat in the family.  Phantom is my fourth cat as an adult.  Cats are known to seek out those who don't particularly care for them.  When I was growing up, my mother's friend Pam, who really didn't like cats, was a favorite of Snowball.
