Jon Batiste leads music march during NYC protests

As suggested during Friday night's Late Show, Jon Batiste was active in the weekend NYC protests, organizing a musician's march on Saturday.  This Tweet from CNN includes a walk and talk between Batiste and CNN's Bill Weir.


Batiste has a couple of livestream videos from the march on his Facebook page.

I find I always like Baptiste more when I see and hear him away from the Colbert Show.

It seems he can't not make music.  He's put out *six* albums since joining the Late Show.

The band is especially good in the Ed during commercial breaks. They play a little too much New Orleans music for my tastes, but they're very, very good.
