anyone else watching it?

We binged season 1 after the Emmys.     Season 2 has been very good too.  The final episode is this sunday night.

The subreddit discussion has revealed a number of the plot complexities that I would have missed otherwise.

My only guess as to "who died" is that Tonya does not die, because Jennifer Coolidge is a very good friend of Mike White (creator, writer, director) and she may be a key thread to each season.

I’ve been spending an episode a night this week with them.

Once I realized that the “Downstairs” activity would be largely in Italian, I enjoyed it a little more.

I got halfway through S1 and found everyone uninteresting and I likable and bailed. But my daughters are bugging me to jump back in, so probably will.

I loved S1 and am possibly even enjoying S2 more.

Objectively, it doesn't feel that a lot is happening, and yet it is. Every character is well drawn, and there are laugh out loud moments. Are they mostly all awful people? Certainly. But you're invested in them. It's all obviously going to kick-off in a big way in the final episode, but the simmering until now has been fabulous. The pot is just about to boil over...

And you don't often see a US series featuring quite such an authentic Essex accent as we get in this. I imagine some used subtitles...

Agreed that subtitles in English are handy for that Essex guy.
