Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark and Linda Tripp in separate "American Crime Story" seasons) will star and exec "The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin," expounding upon the streamer's real-life tale of the evangelist / diet guru (killed in a plane crash in May '21 with her husband, onetime TV Tarzan Joe Lara [our report])... Shamblin and Lara's daughter, part of the ministry they founded, had hoped that the creation of WBD would have led to the scuttling of the project...
