Watched the full series this week. Some of the details I knew as it happened, others I learned a few years ago, but there was a lot I did not know. The names of the people who wrote letters to the court supporting a pedophile (who was recorded admitting to the crime) and trying to blame the victim was disheartening.

Until now, I thought the worst thing that ever came out of the “Nickelodeon on Sunset” building was “The Chevy Chase Show.”

I wonder how much the Disney executives are praying they don’t produce a second season focused on the Disney Channel?

There'll at least be a fifth episode, Kev... coming April 7th.

I don't believe I've ever watched anything on Nickelodeon, and my only familiarity with Schneider is Head of the Class, which I did watch.

But since he's a graduate of my high school, the subject may be discussed on the Facebook page, and I should know what's being talked about.  So, I've now set the DVR to pick up the series.

If Kathy Bates, also a graduate of my high school, becomes embroiled in scandal, I'll be watching that, too -- and more enthusiastically.

We sat through the new episode today… it wasn’t an episode; it was a few interviews with people. The first four episodes deserved to stand-alone. This week’s episode didn’t feature in depth journalism. To me, the logical next step was to confront the people who would go on to hire the convicted child sex predator on more TV shows AFTER he was convicted. Because that’s the story… the deeply flawed system that not only allows criminal behavior but endorses it. Instead this week’s episode was just to invite back people previously interviewed to discuss the “impact” of the documentary and how it was received on social media. They’d have been better off just letting the documentary speak for (and stand for) itself.

It wasn't just at Nick, said Mayim Bialik, on her podcast...

Arvid’s buddy is dying the documentary producers … he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He already apologized for offenses… you can’t apologize for something, then sue stating you didn’t do the something. He’s gonna get laughed out of court.

Considering he hired the guy who soft-balled through the interview, I’d hardly call it an apology, but… yeah.

This is failed crisis management. Schneider had to have been approached by the makers of the series and he chose not to participate or defend himself that way, which is his right. When the series came out and made him look bad he just denied it all. Now he filed a lawsuit, which if it goes to trial, means he can be on the stand under oath while WBD lawyers ask him what he did while child sex abuse was happening in a workplace he managed.
