I don't want to characterize whoever's sending small crafts into the fire

authorities said, illegal...

Former Miss Oklahoma Anita Bryant had a steady career with some hit records
(notably "Paper Roses"), regular appearances on TV variety hours and lots
of commercials (most notably for the Florida Citrus Commission)--and then
in 1977 when Dade County, FL (where she lived) enacted a law prohibiting
discrimination against gays, she objected loudly and started an
organization called Save Our Children (which started that trope about
LGBTQs), thereby pretty much killing her career outside of "The 700 Club"
and other TV religious shows--on Dec. 16 in Edmond, OK of cancer:

I suspect Meta will create an AI version of her on their social media

I try not to say bad things about people on the day they die, but will make
an exception for Bryant, who was the worst.

Always like this incident, not so much because I approve of assaulting
people with banana cream pies, but for how it shows how hateful, programmed
and stilted was her so called religiosity.

Jean Smart, the star of "Hacks," went on Instagram and called for the
networks that are carrying the awards season shows up to the Oscars not to
broadcast them and donating the revenue they might've received to victims
of the LA fires and firefighters--a nice thought, but considering how many
people are depending on the shows for some income in what has been a slow
last couple of years in the film-TV business and other financial
considerations...:

And interestingly, Venu is now not going to happen even though this
partially removed legal issues surrounding the service's proposed launch.

Question from the other side of the Atlantic: since Fox doesn't have a
streaming service aside from Tubi, how do cord-cutters/cord-nevers stream
the Super Bowl? Assuming they don't have YouTube TV or even antennas for
over-the-air, what do they do?

The Fox Sports app, which is attached to their cable subscription, or
foxsports.com (but that also may be limited to cable subscribers).

I think it was Thursday afternoon I listened to MSNBC for a bit and Katy
Tur was reporting from where she grew up (palisades? Altadena?). Which
reminded me that I have not watched the Whirlybird movie about her parents
careers as media chopper pilots during LA roits circa 1991(?).

(Aside: there's so many damn movies and shows that I "add to my list to
watch" and then never really watch them)

Good for him. The entire investigation was bullshit.

He fired a gun and people died. His production company flagrantly broke
rules about gun safety on film sets directly resulting in people dying.

I can reluctantly accept the outcome of the trial, but he absolutely
deserved to be investigated and charged.

YES, both will continue as is.

Fubo (the service, not the company as it will be known going forward) will be focused on sports and news.

Hulu + Live TV will focus on general entertainment.

Sorry, can't find a better explanation without knowing your specific situation. I went from Reuter(s) for something of the sort:
