Unless something happens by tomorrow night, the streamer could lose the Fox cable channels and Fox-owned stations (including WNYW/WWOR NY, WFLD/WPWR Chicago, the latter branded now as Fox+, and KTTV/KCOP LA, the latter branded now as Fox 11+, even though it's channel 13), right in time for the start of the NFL season and right when Fox is launching their Fox One streamer:

You just know they’re going to have it resolved before the beginning of the NFL season.

In my browser when I want to share a link I tap the share button and there’s a “copy clean link” option. It doesn’t make a big deal, but it looks a lot cleaner.

I'd say earlier than that since FOX is airing a big College Football game on Saturday between Texas and Ohio State, which has been hyped for months with Arch Manning (Peyton and Eli's nephew) making his first career collegiate start against the defending National Champions. I'd imagine there would be plenty of Buckeye and Longhorn fans pissed they couldn't watch the game on YT TV.

And now Trump's FCC chairman is calling for Fox and YouTube to bury the hatchet:

The post only mentions the game--I'm surprised he didn't say anything about "the news anchors America trusts--Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham" and "'Gutfeld!'--America's number one late-night show" (even if it airs at 7 p.m. PT).

"Short-term extension" of the old contract announced. $10 credit if the content is cut off at some future point:
