The only significant thing about the POTUS speech last night...

...is the apparent fact that the WH never requested network time. ABC and NBC streamed it online (which made Fatsby rail on TS that their stations' licenses be revoked)... and even the major news cablers took their own approaches:

And after the conclusion of the,speech ABC interrupted "Press Your Luck" (right at the end of the main game after Liz Banks declared the winner) to do an edited and fact checked version of the speech and then didn't JIP "Press" but picked up where they had stopped. Sorry, Nate Berganze, you got Whammied (they had scheduled a rerun of his "Greatest Average American" at 10 p.m.).
