Not the videocon mainstay, but the seminal NET (pre-PBS!) kids series (from these guys ['toob], no longer in the iconic ZIP code it also popularized)... altho last night (Jan 26th) said mainstay hosted a reunion of original cast members [link] (some went on to jobs in showbiz... one's now a psychiatrist!) chockablock with classic clips (I wonder if that survives on the 'toob...)

An online exhibit of the show: https://americanarchive.org/exhibits/zoom (link)

And IYC, here's the videocon... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sBCTnA79MA (link)... and the station's 50th-anny special... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89hx0HvpnUM (link)

Not pre-PBS -- PBS began operations in October 1970, and "Zoom" premiered in January 1972.

And Christopher Sarson, "ZOOM"'s creator, while at WGB--excuse me, GBH--was executive producer of "Masterpiece Theatre," and if his voice in the NPR piece sounded familiar, he was heard every week for years saying "'Mahsterpiece Theatah' is made possible by a grahnt from Mobil Corporation."

NET was stuck in my mind from something else about GBH. Blame Wikipedia, I guess...   B
