Despite dropping ratings, fan contempt for what some of the shows have become and the network not owning the shows anymore that have made a combined 1,400 episodes, Fox is signing on the dotted line for two more years of "The Simpsons," "Family Guy" and "Bob's Burgers" from Disney's 20th for Sunday nights:

At the end of this cycle, "The Simpsons" will be the longest-running scripted series of any kind with 36 seasons, even if the show turned to poop after the 10th season.
