The offer also includes purchasing from Disney FX and National Geographic Channel--no indication if the owned stations are included, but rumor has it that Nexstar is kicking the tires on that one:


The question is:  Would John Landgraf, the man who has made FX what it is today in the realm of original programming, work for Allen?  And would Allen agree to the bulk of FX's original programming continuing to be seen first on Hulu with no linear airing in sight (which includes their recent hit "The Bear")?

Allen was trying to buy Tegna a few years ago and claimed to have $10 billion but it didn’t check out. They couldn’t verify he had the money.

Someone else tried to buy Tegna for $8 billion and that fell through. Now Allen is trying again to buy Tegna.
