The Mouse House paid $8.6B in December as a starting payment to buy out Comcast's one-third share of the streamer, in full valued then at $27.5B--however, the companies since then have disagreed over the value and an arbitrator has been hired to decide with Disney's appraiser saying it's worth much less and Comcast's appraiser going the other way--NBC programming has already been taken off the service and a Hulu tile is now on Disney+ for subscribers to both services--if the arbitrator rules in favor of Comcast's appraisal, Disney may have to pay up to $5B more for Hulu:
