Holiday Peanuts Specials Not on Linear TV This Year (But Still Free)

When Apple got the exclusive rights to the Peanuts franchise for both library and new shows two years ago, they intended to put the beloved holiday specials only on AppleTV+.  After many complaints, they changed their mind and for the last two years "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" have each had one OTA linear airing on PBS and the PBS Kids subchannel.  This year, streaming only--but Apple will stream each show for free on AppleTV on the appropriate holiday weekend:
