The series from the Duffer Brothers, the creators of "Stranger Things," about weirdness in a Florida retirement community got good notices and has been in Netflix's Top 10 since it dropped last month, but SFX and a name cast made it expensive--and the Duffers are now taking the Ellisons' money at Paramount for features:
